Press Release 29th March 2019

untied has been selected as one of ten companies from the Accenture Fintech Innovation Lab to present at the programme graduation event. The selection was made by the financial institutions participating in the lab and the programme mentors.

“In the past people would be afraid of tax. untied is seeing tax from a completely fresh perspective,” said untied CEO Kevin Sefton, “and our desire to make this a tranquil experience will come across in our presentation.”

untied has been among four businesses in the Open Banking stream, and all four have been chosen for the graduation event. “This reflects the extent of change that Open Banking will be bringing. It’s early days and untied and the other companies in this stream are at the forefront,” said Kevin Sefton.

On the programme, Kevin Sefton said, “We’re extremely grateful to Accenture, and to all the institutions and mentors who have given so much of their time. During the course of the last three months we’ve adapted, got better at describing what we do, and feel that we are on the pathway to potential partnerships. The relationships we’ve formed are friendships, and being able to pick up the phone to share ideas and ask advice is something that is impossible to measure.”
