We’re delighted to share the news that we’ve been accepted into cohort 5 of the Financial Conduct Authority’s regulatory sandbox. The sandbox allows firms like untied to test innovative offerings in a live environment. What it means for us is that we’ll be able to offer untied to our first public beta users under FCA authorisation right on schedule in June.

untied are one of just 29 businesses who have been accepted into the cohort.  The process will give us the opportunity to try out our product in a carefully controlled environment, helping ensure that we’ve built in all the appropriate safeguards for our users.

This marks another milestone for untied; we’re now operating under the Financial Conduct Authority, for APIs through the HMRC tax authority, and under the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

And all these bodies know that they benefit from people being in control of their taxes, too!

More information on the FCA’s regulatory sandbox can be found here.
