Well it looks like people were enjoying their Xmas TV more this year. With the Queen topping the viewing figures, Xmas tax submissions were down 10% compared to last year when Love Actually was on.

We’ve just got the stats in from HMRC. 2,700 people pressed submit on Xmas Day (compared with 3,003 in 2019), and 8,500 on Boxing Day.

They included untied users – our own data shows double the activity on 26 December compared to the previous day. We’ll be sharing more stats in the coming days.
