I confessed to a friend I’d prepared a slideshow on the five minute journey to a meeting to present it.

“I was last minute,” I said. She replied, “no, you were bored.”

Whatever the reason for putting things off, people who leave things to the last minute can get a real high from it. That rush of dopamine. The whoosh. Even when we’re telling you not to delay, we still get it. So for the procrastinators out there, this one’s for you:
